Here’s to the gay Muslims, lesbian Muslims, bi Muslims, pan Muslims, trans Muslims, questioning Muslims, and any Muslim who’s not cis or straight who has to deal with being told you’re haram or not Muslim or that you have to “pray the gay away” or “I’ll make dua for you” or that you’re being “influenced by the West” because you’re not cishet. You’re just as valid in your identity and just as Muslim as cishet Muslims and the things that homophobic and transphobic Muslims say about you is not equivalent to the way that Allah SWT views you and you are not hated by Allah SWT and you are not haram.
