destroy the idea that gay people are better than bi/pan ones because they ‘picked a side’ or because bi people are greedy, more likely to cheat, etc.

destroy the idea that bi/pan people are better than gay ones because ‘hearts not parts’ or because they fall in love with ‘souls instead of just bodies’.

my attraction is not narrow-minded or shallow because it’s exclusive to women. your sexuality is not greedy or selfish because it isn’t exclusive to one sex.

no one’s sexuality is superior and no one’s is lesser. don’t be an asshole.

thanks for coming to my ted talk

in theory its super bad when straight dudes go “hey ur a lesbian? we both like girls we’re the same!” but in reality this has happened twice and most recently was today when a guy i was training in the frame shop went “oh you’re gay?” “yea” “that’s cool. it’s cool that you told me. we both like girls and star wars so it’s nice that we have a shift together :)” like god damn it brett you’re so respectful and thoughtful with your goddamned words

the posts that are like “straight men can never love a woman like a lesbian” are cool jokes and stuff but u gotta really appreciate dudes who have no idea what its like to be gay but try their best to try and relate. “we both like hot ladies” you know what, ryan? that’s close enough. i appreciate that.

Listen I know that it’s the 2018-way to immediately compare every single American government corruption to the Nazis but uh, you actually don’t need to do an international comparison when trying to show the horrors of separating children from their families and putting them in “camps”.

Turns out America did that too:

(The above are pictures from Japanese Internment Camps in WWII, located right here in America. More info on the subject: x )

In fact, they did it more than once:

(The above are pictures of German-Americans who were also detained in American states. More info: x )

In fact, they did it a lot:

(The above are photos from the American Native-American “boarding schools” which separated Native American children from their families so that they could be brainwashed into embracing the white “Christian” American way. More info: x )

So when you see these appalling images in the news:

don’t start comparing America to WWII Germany.

Start comparing America to America.

Because we’ve always done this and, as long as we can get away with it, we always will.
